RATES
RECORDING:
$100 per hour (2 hour min)
If interested in recording you have a couple options. Depending on your needs you can book time at one of the 3 rooms we have available- each specialized for specific performances or instruments. If out of budget however; there are options for recording at my private studio for a cheaper rate. All of which can be discussed over email or phone.
For Mastering I charge a flat rate of $75. This is to get your song to the correct loudness, compare energy and style to other songs already on the market, help bring the song together as a whole and also work out any minor mixing issues that carry over from the other processes.

If interested in mixing- the rates do depend primarily on song length and amount of audio tracks in the mix. For instance a stripped down acoustic song will be much cheaper than an 80 track pop song. This being said at RED Records I do pride myself on the quality of my mixes and take no shortcuts whatsoever.

Typically my clients like to go for the whole package and run their whole project through me. That would include recording all the tracks in your project, mixing the songs and mastering for one grouped price. Doing this not only significantly cuts your cost down- but also ensures the entirety of your song is being completed correctly without shortcuts in a timely manner. Typically pricing would be done per song and depending on how many songs in your project could cut down the rates of each song individually.
